I am a determined person that strives to understand what needs to be done to help you meet your goals. I found my calling in helping each person understand how to heal whole: mind-body-soul. I feel very alive and joyous when working with individuals and personalizing your recovery and specific goals. I love learning and researching new methods that will help you feel better.

My treatment approach is eclectic with a heavy influence from the Institute of Physical Art Functional Manual Therapy and Michigan State Osteopathic approach. I strongly believe that in order to be effective in treatment, you need to address the dysfunction with a systems approach to the problem; finding the source. Helping you to be active versus passive in your treatment empowers and gets you back to an active lifestyle more effectively.

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, I was a software engineer. I played college Soccer at the University of Minnesota–Duluth for three seasons before transferring to the Twin Cities and playing Ultimate Frisbee. I spend most of my free time with my family incorporating an active lifestyle with them. I enjoy multiple sports including mountain biking, trail running, cyclocross, ultimate, broomball, soccer, golf, and Nordic skiing.
